AKAKOR GEOGRAPHICAL EXPLORING is an italian cultural association that was born in 1992 with the purpose of carrying out explorations and technical-scientific works, developing projects and cultural exchanges within many accomplishment areas.
Amazon forest is one of the latest boundary of the civilized world: in a region as wide as the North American continental area (even though on maps this seems to be wrong), included into Brazil, Bolivia, Venezuela, Colombia, Equador, Perù and a portion of Guineas, and where modern people have never been. Many myths were born and were transmitted there regrarding all the near unexplored regions, by the inhabitants of that locations.
AKAKOR dues its name to several well known legends that were born in Amazon, saying that the subsoil would be crossed by a series of tunnels linking several underground cities located under the SouthAmerican continental platform. The biggest city's name is just Akakor. The work of the courageous subterranean explorators that were looking for that city is comparable to the work of the modern speleologists and geologists, that have been falled for our's Planet underground for a long time, as it's one of the latest unexplored and untouched places nowadays.
So this is AKAKOR GEOGRAPHICAL EXPLORING's objective: to know the jealously kept secrets inside our Planet.
